Mayoral Minute

Having been approached by Councillors, I wish to raise for debate the possibility of flying the Ukrainian flag outside Council Chambers in support of the beleaguered nation.

Recommendation

That the information contained in this Mayoral Minute be acknowledged

STAFF COMMENT

If the motion is successful staff are legally able to fly the Ukrainian flag outside Chambers by replacing the Council flag. It is suggested a period of one week is suitable once a Ukrainian flag is sourced.

Financial Implications

A flag may need to be purchased.
