That the apologies be accepted from Cr G Taylor and Cr R Turner for the Services Policy Committee of Orange City Council on 7 August 2018.

 

1.1     DECLARATION OF PECUNIARY INTERESTS, SIGNIFICANT NON-PECUNIARY INTERESTS AND LESS THAN SIGNIFICANT NON-PECUNIARY INTERESTS

Cr J McRae declared a less than significant non-pecuniary interest in item 2.1 of the Services Policy Committee (Minutes of the Cultural Heritage Community Committee) as she is a part owner of a building identified in the Heritage Study.

Cr S Nugent declared a less than significant non-pecuniary interest in item 2.4 of the Services Policy Committee (Minutes of the Central West Libraries Committee) as his wife is employed my Central West Libraries and in item 2.6 of the Services Policy Committee (Minutes of the World War 1 Centenary Community Committee) as he is a board member of OCTEC.

Cr Whitton declared a less than significant non-pecuniary interest in item 2.6 of the Services Policy Committee (Minutes of the World War 1 Centenary Community Committee) as he is a board member of OCTEC.

Cr Kidd declared a less than significant non-pecuniary interest in item 2.6 of the Services Policy Committee (Minutes of the World War 1 Centenary Community Committee) as he is a board member of OCTEC.

 

2       Committee Minutes

2.1     Minutes of the Cultural Heritage Community Committee - 5 June 2018

TRIM Reference:        2018/1858

Cr J McRae declared a less than significant non-pecuniary interest as she is a part owner of a building identified in the Heritage Study.

1     That Council acknowledge the reports presented to the Cultural Heritage Community Committee at its meeting of 5 June 2018.

2     That Council determine recommendations 3.2 and 3.6, and the recommendation from the matter arising regarding the timing of heritage awards, from the minutes.

3     That the remainder of the minutes of the Cultural Heritage Community Committee meeting of 5 June 2018 be adopted.

 

 

MATTER ARISING

Cr Kidd noted he was an apology for the Cultural Heritage Community Committee of 5 June 2018, however this was not noted in the minutes.

 

2.2     Minutes of the Health Liaison Committee Meeting - 5 June 2018

1        That Council acknowledge the reports presented to the Orange Health Liaison Committee at its meeting held on 5 June 2018.

2        That Council determine recommendations 3.1 from the minutes of the Orange Health Liaison Committee meeting of 5 June 2018.

3        That the remainder of the minutes of the Orange Health Liaison Committee at its meeting held on 5 June 2018 be adopted.

 

 

QUESTION TAKEN ON NOTICE

Cr Munro requested information regarding how Council promotes Orange to attract business.

 


 

 

2.3     Minutes of the Ageing and Access Community Committee - 27 June 2018

1        That Council acknowledge the reports presented to the Ageing and Access Community Committee at its meeting of 27 June 2018.

2        That Council determine recommendations 3.1 to 3.4, 3.6 and 4.1 from the minutes.

3        That the remainder of the minutes of the Ageing and Access Community Committee meeting of 27 June 2018 be adopted.

 

 

QUESTIONS TAKEN ON NOTICE

Cr Kidd requested information regarding signage at John Lomas Skate Park regarding Toilet Facilities.

 

Cr Mileto requested Council staff look at options for signage and the Ranger patrol of Jack Brabham Park regarding dog excrement on the sports fields.

 

2.4     Minutes of the Central West Libraries Committee - 29 June 2018

TRIM Reference:        2018/1697

Cr S Nugent declared a less than significant non-pecuniary interest as his wife is employed by Central West Libraries.

That the recommendations made by the Central West Libraries at its meeting held on 29 June 2018 be adopted.

 

 

 

2.5     Minutes of the Lucknow Community Committee - 5 July 2018

1    That Council acknowledge the reports presented to the Lucknow Community Committee at its meeting of 5 July 2018.

2    That Council determine recommendation 4.1 from the minutes of the Lucknow Community Committee meeting held 5 July 2018.

3    That the remainder of the minutes of the Lucknow Community Committee meeting held 5 July 2018 be adopted.

 

 

 

2.6     Minutes of the World War I Centenary Community Committee - 17 July 2018

Cr S Nugent declared a less than significant non-pecuniary interest as he is a board member of OCTEC.

Cr Whitton declared a less than significant non-pecuniary interest as he is a board member of OCTEC.

Cr Kidd declared a less than significant non-pecuniary interest as he is a board member of OCTEC.
